Games and activities are a great way to teach children about food and healthy eating while having fun at the same time. Play-based learning helps support children’s development across many areas such as physical, social, emotional and intellectual. Food related games and activities are also a great way to expose children to new and non-preferred foods in a gentle and encouraging way.
Through play-based food activities, children have the opportunity to explore and learn about foods in an engaging way, separate from mealtimes.
Keeping an aim to make students aware about healthy food, a fruit decoration activity was organized as part of the Rashtriya Poshan Maah in the nursery class of GSSS Mauli Jagran – Village Chandigarh . Under the guidance of the Principal Mrs. Gurbakash Kaur, Ms. Poonam Kataria co-ordinates this activity.
