India is famously known as the land of festivals, however, Diwali is an amalgamation of colors, light, unity, prosperity and in short, it brings all people together. To put creative minds together GSSS Mauli Jagran organized various activities in the school on the occasion of Diwali festival week.
Principal of the school Mr. Rajinder Kumar explained the importance of Diwali, the festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil. Students are not only being told not to burst crackers but also being sensitized through activities that Diwali can be celebrated in a more ceremonious and joyful way without crackers .
STC StdudentsĀ participated inĀ Diya decorations Activity, Drawing Activity. Students of upper classes participated in Rangoly making activity along with STC students. To prepare themselves for upcoming rangoli competitions STC Students learned about rangoly making ideas and methods from senior students .
Both Teachers and students enjoyed the Diwali celebrations wholeheartedly.
